Responsibilities
Inspect and maintain winding drums, ropes, shafts and sheaves, service braking systems and hydraulic components, perform lubrication and mechanical adjustments and support breakdown repairs.
Requirements
Mechanical Technician Certificate, Technical Diploma, City & Guilds Mechanical Certificate Part II or equivalent Mechanical Engineering qualification. Minimum 3-5 years in winder mechanical maintenance, mine infrastructure or heavy industrial mechanical environments.
