AION Worldwide is hiring a Senior Geospatial Engineer to lead geospatial systems, spatial data solutions and project delivery for a client in Ghana on a remote basis.
Responsibilities
Drive measurable outcomes across geospatial projects, lead spatial data systems delivery, manage workstreams, mentor junior geospatial staff and translate complex spatial data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or higher in Geospatial Engineering, GIS, Geomatics, Computer Science or related field. Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in GIS development, spatial data systems or geospatial engineering. Proficiency with ArcGIS, QGIS or MapInfo; Python, R or JavaScript; geospatial databases such as PostGIS; remote sensing, LiDAR, satellite imagery and cloud geospatial platforms required.
