A leading Metal and Mining company is hiring an experienced Process Engineer or Metallurgist to drive operational excellence in a hydrometallurgical plant on an on-site mining project in Central Africa.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day hydrometallurgical plant operations. Monitor and optimize process parameters. Improve metal recovery and process efficiency. Plan production schedules and raw material utilization. Ensure quality control and HSE compliance. Lead troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Applicants should have 5 to 12 years of experience and a qualification in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or Process Engineering. Strong hydrometallurgy experience in copper, cobalt, zinc, or nickel is required, along with process optimization, troubleshooting, and a strong operational safety mindset.
