Urgent hiring for an Accounts Officer to support finance, payables, reconciliations, and stock controls in a food and hospitality business based in Nhyiaeso, Kumasi. Candidates must live in or around Nhyiaeso.
Responsibilities
Import daily REIMS reports, verify payment types, and post sales journals with attachments. Review exceptions reports for manager PINs and reason codes and log anomalies. Identify and resolve discrepancies promptly. Maintain an orderly filing system for cash-up packs, GRN packs, supplier invoices, tax proofs, and reconciliations. Assemble 3-way match checks across invoice, PO, and GRN and maintain the GR/IR tracker. Record approved invoices to accounts payable and apply withholding tax where applicable. Keep supplier master data accurate. Reconcile supplier statements and track purchase price variances. Record withholding tax receivables from client certificates. Send monthly AR statements. Supervise and sign off weekly and month-end stock takes and reconciliations. Monitor inventory movement and maintain inventory adjustment records for finance review.
Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is advantageous. Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping. 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a finance support role. Applicants should live in or around Nhyiaeso, Kumasi.
